Sample Hub

Privacy policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Sample Hub ("we", "us") is a directory connecting veterinary sample keepers with researchers. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Your account email (for sign-in); profile details you choose to add — display name, institution, role, location, website, bio; contact details (email/phone) for reaching you about samples; and the sample records you publish. Location fields are optional and set by you, typically at city-level precision.

What's public

Your profile (name, institution, role, location, bio) and any samples you publish are visible to anyone, signed in or not — that's the point of a shared directory. Contact details (email/phone) and restricted sample fields are only shown to signed-in users.

Cookies

We only set strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in, issued by our authentication provider, Supabase. We don't use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Third parties

We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication and email delivery. We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile and contact details, and unpublish or delete samples, at any time from your account. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.
